Privacy Policy — Last Bite Lunchbox

Last Bite Lunchbox ("Last Bite," "we," "us") provides a school lunch ordering service for Challenger School in Garden City, Idaho. This policy explains what information we collect from parents and their children, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

From the parent (account holder), we collect:

Name and email address
Payment information, processed directly by Stripe (see below — we never store full card numbers)

For each child on an account, we collect only:

First and last name
Grade and classroom
Dietary restrictions or allergy information you choose to provide

We do not collect a child's date of birth, photograph, or any other information beyond what's needed to serve them lunch correctly and safely.

How We Use Information

To process and fulfill lunch orders
To communicate with you about orders, menus, and account activity
To flag allergy or dietary information to kitchen staff preparing meals
To process payments and issue account credit for cancellations

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number on our servers. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment details.

Who Can See This Information

Dietary and allergy information is visible to school kitchen staff preparing meals. Order and account information is visible to Last Bite and Challenger School administrative staff for the purpose of running the lunch program. We do not sell your data or your child's data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Account Credit and Cancellations

When you cancel an order before the weekly ordering cutoff, the amount paid is returned to your account as credit, automatically applied to your next order. We keep a record of these adjustments for accounting purposes.

Data Retention

We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with our accounting and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us using the information below.

Your Choices

You can update or remove your child's dietary information at any time from your account.
You can opt out of non-essential email communications from your Account settings.
You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
